td42 starter removal

howsit,

,y starter motor has packed it in, just wondering if anyone had any tips for ease of removal? go in from the top or from the bottom etc?

I took a oil filter off to get the electrical side of things off made it easier could it with it in place if you don't want the mess, then just unbolt it from the bottom and pull it out

When I did mine the bolts were )&*^$#*( tight,be prepared,
