Tauranga area-ish, Porters Rd? Sun 8th ?

So now that the project is finally pretty much ready for a test run (ie. I'm itching to go play haha), looking for somewhere not too far from home for a bit of a blast around for the day, make sure everything's working, see what can be improved etc before going further afield. Whakamaramara would be good but not sure how accessible that is these days? Or maybe Porters Rd.
Anybody else keen on Sun 8th (bound to need a tow at some point haha)? Ideas, suggestions, anywhere else anyone would be keen to go thats not too far and has somewhere to leave tow wagon/trailer?

Whaka is closed off to 4wds now, it only looks open because some ****s ripped out the bollards.
You could perhaps contact the BOP club about Tect Park, the occasionally organise runs up there

Yeah thought it was closed these days, lime the other good day run tracks round here. Pretty keen on Porters Rd if anyone else is keen, esp anyone that knows the track haha only went in a little way last time
