350 Chevy 40 Series Mud Truck

Post by Disco Gofer »

The Hulk needs a new home. I have had this truck for 3.5 years and its time for me to change. Reason for selling is that I want to change back to closed in truck with more seats as I do a lot of funds raisers and Ni scout events where we need all the seats we can get to take kids for trips. Here is a detailed list of whats on it:

350 Chevy that does not use a drop of oil nor smoke ever.
4 barrel 650 Holley
Near new 35" Silverstone Extremes
Bead lock rims
Rear air locker
60 Series diffs with discs all round
Customer twin air intake with twin pods in cab
35" spare wheel
High Lift jack, 4 shackles all round and 3 recovery hooks.
Stainless steel fuel tank (30lt)
Plastic storage box for food / safety gear etc
1000 amp battery
Davies Craig 115lt/ min electric water pump
Davies Craig thermo control radiator fan
Custom alloy 4 core radiator like new
Customer alloy radiator fan cowling
Small tool box
Interior LED light
4 x LED work lights (hell strong)
LED rear/ reverse light
Rev counter, volt meter, oil pressure gauge
Customer dash face to house gauges and bring them closer
2 x 4 point harnesses
PTO winch with spring hook mount
Led front and rear driving/ brake lights when needing to travel on the road a short distance.
Fire Extinguisher
Fold down bonnet panel to deflect mud/ water when the time comes
Alloy sheet roof
Front Toyota LSD
Full front diff seal replacement last year.
Half cut doors
Bucket seats
2 x 3" side winder pipes (wicked sound)
Brand new reduction start motor
Aux fan in engine bay for additional cooling when parked (run on fan)
Nothing was really done on the cheap so it took a while to get it all in shape after buying it. I use it approx. every 3/4 weeks as I have a Landrover as well so its not used to much. I have also fixed anything as and when it broke and also clean the truck after each trip and it parks in my car port under cover. Its got a full tank of gas so a "turn key" buy for any on.

Maybe but good ones are becoming very hard to find and are now becoming collectors items fetching good prices.

Auto or manual?
Its better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
