Well yet another zuk has met it's death at my hands, has been stripped and body/chassis scrapped. Front diff in bits and have been told motor runs but pretty knackered. Have all glass except LF window, all driveline parts etc. Also have another one to pick up which is a good runner with a stuffed body.
This one has been the worst I have done most come of farms and are a little dirty underneath, this one was just packed solid must have added a few hundred kg... :lol:

Was that the one with the front diff out, guy selling 2 of them? I would've been keen on the other one but a little far to go twice when I didn't really want the blue one anyway haha

Always keep an eye out for the cheap farm trucks for parts, I'm usually shit outta luck since there are at least 3 SJ wreckers in Tauranga anything local gets snapped up pretty quick :cry:

I would be keen on a 1300 sump and oil pick up. (Also need a conrod from a 1600 8 valve.)

Can't help with the rod as only have 1300s sorry, can do sump and pickup for $70 though.

Yeah so doing the 1600 repower. have already swapped over to the single port 8 valve injected head (on to the 1300 block) so the electrics are all done. runs very well.
The 1600 shout block hydro-locked in a river a couple of years ago. Just got the holes in the crank case welded up.
Will try to run the 3 speed auto but have a few options / problems on gearing to get a good crawl ratio.

When I picked this one up I was told the motor runs but "had a little bit of piston slap" pulled sump off today and found half a piston in a million pieces in there... :lol:

Must be selling stuff too cheap or something, half the truck is gone already!

This one runs and drives, haven't decided whether I am going to dismantle it or try and find a good body for it.

They are a 750x16 which is roughly 31-32" tall.

Bump, have just picked up a SWB SJ410 and a LWB SJ410 which should have the 3:1 transfer case.
