Air Cond being weird?

Post by crazydragon »

KZJ78 Prado.

Only 1 of the vents are working. The other 3 has no air at all. No matter what setting I choose. Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it?

All the aircond vents are "opened".

Check that the duct that leaves the blower/air cond unit hasnt fallen off

If fan is working to one outlet then it has to be either a blockage or ducting issue

The levers connect to push pull cables. They could have come off at either the lever end in dash. Pig to get to. Or at the other end down by your left foot when driving. Another pig of a place to get to. The end by your foot the outer cable is clamped with a metal clip. The cable jumps out of the clip.

Thanks guys. Hey Calvin, are there any guides or layout pics of how to open up the dash?

Not really but it is pretty straight forward. I can take some photos later and show where all the screws are.
