With my winch now mounted in the rear of my tray I needed a way to easily get the cable out and even though the 80:1 ratio on my 9500Q is fast it snags up if the winch rope get pinched it doubles back. I had always intended to run a free-spool. So i found an air actuator that did 180 degrees (that was harder than i thought most do 90) also picked up an air solenoid valve that was a 5/3 which basically has one input and swaps between the two ouputs with 2 exhausts.
So i modified the original clutch handle cutting it off and welding a bolt to it then drilled and taped the actuator also added a nylock to keep it aligned
Then i just made a simple bracket bit of flat and a right angle bracket i found at bunnings. See photos.

Bought actuator off ebay a long long time ago. Ill have to see if its still in my purchases.
Wasn't still in there from memory it was about $80-$100 landed. Solenoid valve was cheap $15 was looking for actuator for a while ebay is best place to look specials pop up now and then.
