D21 winch install

Hi im a newbe at this but wanted to see what people thought of my winch install do you think its up to spec .I have mounted the control box under the bonnet and the in /out switch in the centre console on a tumbler switch.I sort of use kiwi pete ideas. Any coments welcome.

did you emply the upper mounts on the chassi where the bumper bolts in to triangulate the structure of the mount. as this will stop the levering effect that occours with a single plain style mounting.

Did you fabricate that winch mount or is it a purchased one?! Looks like a good base for my next front bar build

Hi made it myself .Its bolted to the chassis rails were the nugbar was and to the tie down points which I have reinforced and a bolt through the cross member as well.All fully welded as well . If you look up kiwipete's thread it is base on that sort off . It has 9 bolts holding it on in all. I had to cut and tuck the nugbar a bit so that is just bolted to the winch mount.

Mint, looks good. You happen to have dimensions & angles by any chance, that I could send to my Fab guy as a basis?

Looking sh!t hot there mate 8) . I would suggest getting a belly pan under there though, otherwise you'll end up taking half the track home with you. Terrano's like pretending to be graders :roll:
