Kzn185 auto issues

Having some problems finding a diagnostic code pulled from the truck OD light flashes 3 then 8 so Code 38 (Tripple Checked this). Auto has no issues that i can tell when driving only when you get to 75 deg water temp the o/d light starts flashing, have done a fair bit of reading and usually is the solenoids but there codes are 42 or 61-65 so im a bit stumped cant find a fault code 38.

anyone struck this before

Temp sender on trans , either faulty or bad connection .
Had Same issue.
Same as Lexus sender.
