i have a 24v one off a safari in wgtn .warn with rebuilt motor ,cable a bit average .

Or try the "Mudstuck" guys I recently got a 24v winch new from them for $500. It was a special they had on Trade Me.
Cant tell you how well they work yet, but will definately help you out if you have any issues.
