Mechanic in CHCH to Install Auber EGT and Water Temp

Post by Wild_South »

Hi guys,

I am just holidng myself together as I am fuming. I have tried 2 "reputable 4wd mechanics" to install my Auber gauges. Both have told me it will be done in "x" amount of time and for "x" amount of dollars, and then I call up asking if I can pick up (as it should have been done at this point). To which they have noth replied: "Sorry but it will take a lot longer, and therefore will be about triple the cost. $600 to install 2 gauges!?!! KIDDING ME!!

Sorry about the rant but does anybody know a genuinely good 4wd mechanic that knows how to properly install these gauges and will do it for a fair price and reasonable time-frame?

Thanks

or you could call Summit 4wd and ask Rick to price it, he's done quite a few.
