Fenix Radiators :)

Post by catalystracing »

Have needed to replace my radiator and had a good ring around various places.
The best price and awesome service was by the guys at Fenix in Petone, 04 589 9098.
A full alloy unit with cap, $200+ grab snatch and take.
They couldn't be easier to deal with, super happy

Good luck with that, most of them end up leaking I have seen a few come back at the local radiator shop. Copper and brass ones are way better although much more $.

Ok, they quoted same price for the copper and brass one. Will see how it goes. I have done alloy welding myself and I am happy with build quality.
Thanks for the feed back.

It's not the seams that leak though it's where the tubes join to the end plate. When a hilux one came back under warranty claim they (Fenix) wouldn't refund, only offered a plastic tanked alloy unit as a replacement. I hope yours doesn't suffer the same fate but it's not unlikely.
