kzj95 prado vs kzn165 power outputs
Hi can anyone tell me the difference apart from the inter cooler between the 1kz in the prado and the 1kz in the hilux as the prado has a higher power output. my kzn165 has a front mount inter cooler and an ecu chip an still doesn't go as good as a standard prado so i'm hoping someone can enlighten me on the differences cheers

Well the Prado was marketed as the premium product, so it was designed to have a bit more torque especially.
Also the prado had a "long valve" head rather than a "short valve" head. What this means (apart from the obvious) I'm not quite sure.
Your factory ecu wont be designed with the intercooler in mind, so will suffer a bit there.
