Re: Toyota Landcruiser
Check for rust
look at front cab mount. As mud gets in and sits there and rusts from inside out.
ditto with sills
Otherwise asuming all is well $20-25k
im picking 24v diesel 5 speed for the 99 year
pto winch implies trans box rather than c/diff which could also imply 9.5" front diff as well.
if all above is as discribed it would be an awesome truck.

Re: Toyota Landcruiser
the only 1999 landcruiser single cabs are the 79 series cab chassis, as above $20k-25k is what they are worth but its common for them to be asking $10k+ more than that, that era was around the changeover to coil front end and the longer cab, if its an old leaf sprung front end move on and find a coil sprung one unless its going for a bargain price that's hard to turn down

Re: Toyota Landcruiser
cheers guys cant get inside it till later this week so will check for rust, Cab is identical to the earlyer types only a short peice behind the doors and yep leaf sprung front end about as much flex as a 4x2 but it is a deal so we are looking into it. it has gearbox issues or transfer so we need to sort this out what type gearbox's do they run and is a replacement easy to source? will get some pics up when we have in our position.

as long as the box is not cracked every thing inside will be easily repaired or reconded
just need to find out whether its a c/d or std transfer box.
don kyatt up here do all the kits for them and at good prices as well.
talk to arb about throwing in a set of ome front leaves and shocks to make the ride a bit more comfortable
the rear will always be differcult as the set up is either for load (hard) or empty (soft but unable to carry anything to heavy)
Re: Toyota Landcruiser
I'd also say it's running the H55F gearbox.. with split case.. should be able to find another one.. Im 99% sure it'll be one those.. have one here for parts or just needs a bearing..
