cat converter

hey tried the search and google but no luck

what do you usually do with the sensor after the catalytic converter when taking the cat converter out?
its a 96 3.5
guy that done the exhaust has just tucked it up by the trans. is this ok?

usually the sensor is there to turn on a light on your dash( cat convertor overheating warning), so it is quite common to tuck them out of the way, and you seldom have an issue with them. From my experience( 1990s toyotas mind you), it is important to secure it properly, out of harms way, as i had one that came loose and dangled down onto the driveshaft, and i could hear this whirring noise everytime i slowed down(thought it was a fault in the trans!)

Mine is just zip tied out of the way with no trouble.
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)
