Need help in CHCH

I'm currently running 265/75x16 Maxxis Buckshots on my Isuzu Bighorn and I'm getting a humming sound between 40-65km/h and again around 90-100km/h around the front left side.

I have replaced the rotors, pads, wheel bearings, and have rebuilt the calipers. The garage reckons its the tyre tread - I'm not sure cos I still have the front left pad rubbing slightly on the rotors on the leading eadge of the outside pad (binding a little).

Would there be anyone in CHCH who could loan me a a pair of tires and rims to suit for 10min so I can check out this theory?
