Wtb Nissan navara 3.2 diesel

Post by JONO250 »

I am in the market for a navara ute. late 90's to early 2000's D22 shape, 3.2 diesel (no ZD30's).

prefer a double cab but would consider a single or king cab if it was the right ute.

anyone got one they are looking to get rid of?

any one with a factory qd32 navara either knows what they are worth or doesn't appreciate how lucky they are not to own a zd30 one.

you could however buy zd30 navara with a blown motor,(plenty of them laying around the country side) and buy a qd32 to go in + certification for less then the price of a 3.2 nav'
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

theres a few decent 3.2's on trademe at the mo,,, all down south thou. would rather get a factory 3.2 than go through the hassle of doing an engine conversion.

heard to many horror storys about the zd30 engine ( in patrols). never driven a non turbo 3.2, but have driven a turbo one and loved it. my idea is to buy a non turbo one and turbocharge and tune it.

where abouts are you located foot8sativa? have a good look on trademe there is a few around (3.2 navaras that is)

um father n laws qd32 r3m-r terrano has done 400,000 ish and gets a oil change when he remembers too lol.
the qd/bd and td are all from the heavy/commercial UD family of diesel engines so over engineered and design to go and go and go.
zd30 was nissan's first real attempt at a high tec light diesel engine hence the epic failures. were designed as a suv engine not a forklift or medium sized truck or bus engine.
