braked trailer couplings

anyone know why we don't seam to have the USA brands of trailer couplings here?

just having issues with our trailer. had the hydraulic damper trojen coupling but that kept failing.
they have replaced it with the spring version which is given issues. plus the spring ones are not as nice to use as the hydraulic damper ones.
however there is USA couplings which have both spring and hydraulic dampers (like mini shock absorbers) in the one unit and they are in 1 7/8" ball size.

just wondering why they are not on the market here?
