1kz ln65 wanting to run a pto

hi guys im building a ln65 double cab with a 1kz and wanting to run a pto set up on it but not to sure what gearbox to run as the r151 is chain driven
any advise would be appreciated

I think u can bolt a landcruiser transfer setup with pto winch stuff.
Only down side is the offset rear drive output

Yep, you'll need a split case transfer box & PTO box out of a 60 or 70 series (& later model 40 series) Landcruiser, plus I think you also need a rear gearbox housing out of an R150 equipped LJ/KZJ7* Prado to mate them up. Then you've got the diff offset issue as above. Or if you want to get real creative the Nissan GQ/Y60 Safari/Patrol has a PTO option & a centred rear output.

if your doing a complete drivetrain swap its not much more to throw an off centred diff in the back while your at it :D

thanks guys for the input im thinking of running the r151 then mount up a nissan 720 transfercase off the main out put to the rear
