7m into v6 surf

Post by 86-surf »

Hi guys, been a few years since I have posted on here.
I have jumped back in the seat of a surf after being in many lowered cars the bite and feel for a truck has won, I picked a vzn130 up for $1470. The engine has done 300+ ks and is developing a few signs of dying, I picked up a running 7mge without hesitation for a couple hundred. I have been through this forum and many others and I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME find anything on replacing the 3vz with a 7m.

Does anyone have any information on this or able to help at all?

Cheers
Jason

pretty old but popular conversion, its worth spending some time gating and/or baffling the sump they run dry pretty easy and trying to find replacement engines or cranks all the time wears thin :D
