Newbie here

Post by Ben13 »

Hi all, I'm in the process of moving to rotorua from western australia. I'm from the uk but moved to wa 4 years ago.

I'm bringing 3 off road sports quads with me and wondered if anyone knew of places my family and i can ride them in or around rotorua.

I am interested in 4wd'ing but that will have to wait until funds allow.

Look forward to getting to know some of you and possibly meeting up

Hi Mate, there's not a huge amount of public riding areas close to town but you'll find heaps of organised trail rides around the central north island farms & forests, especially over winter. Some of these are a bit gnarly for quads but many should be good fun, call & ask if you're not sure. There's a good events listing at: http://www.silver-bullet.co.nz/events.php

Cheers

Hi Clint,

Thank you for the info. Silverbullet only really has 1 or 2 dedicated quad rides but they specify 2wd quads are not allowed :-(
