Broken Cable for Front Demister

The cable on my suzuki for controling the front demister/airflow dirrection is broken, has anyone ever replaced one of these? Any Idea's if I can do it without removing the whole Dashboard?

Ended up having to loosen the whole dash board which was 6 screws on the bottom and 3 on top and also remove the Speedo & glove box which allowed me to reach into all the cables and put a new heater controller in which I got from the wreakers solving the problem of my broken cable, took just over an hour to install properly wasn't in much of a rush.
