Is anything electronics the best to deal with and are they reasonable in pricing.info please.

Yeah, had them fix my 1KZ ECU had no problems and they give you a quote first, they can fix other auto electronics as well
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

I have sent a few jobs to them.... Never had an issue... As said can strip and quote first before doing the job to see if its worth it... Naturally there is a fee for strip and quote.... Give them a call....

Thanks for the replies.It does seem that they have a good reputation.I have a starting problem just now,it will start then switch it off and it won't start again until some flu key thing happens and it starts again .Any ideas please.Pat

need details of vehicle, engine and the fault. its not always the ecu.
a mates car had that and i traced it down to the ecu relay, after auto sparky spent thousands replacing everything else!

It's a KZJ78 auto with the 1 KZTE.any help appreciated

Where are you? Someone local may be able to loan you their ECU to test in your Prado to eliminate/prove the issue?

Have just discovered a diesel leak at threat of the pump

if its leaking fuel then its also sucking in air which can make it hard to start.

No longer have an ECU..... mine went to Canada.... And now I dont run one... But happy to assist as required...

I had the 1KZ ECU from my KZJ fixed by Anything Electronic and I'm another satisfied customer.

I'm crippled up a bit at the moment so took the Prado to an auto electrician and the prob is the ecu so he is sending it to anything electronics so with a bit of luck should be home next week.this is a very good forum to be part of.thanks folks.

I took my Prado to Barry auto electricians in Kumeu.He tested it found the Ecu was faulty,sent it to Anything Electronics in Nelson and after very few days it is back in the Prado fully rebuilt and performing superblyMy thanks and recommendations to both Steve at Barry auto electricians and Anything Electronics.Pat Delich
