Hilux windscreen swap anyone done one?

Hi just wondering if anyone could tell me how to cut windscreens out and replace.
My wof has run out and have noticed i have a huge crack in window but dont think insurance would work as out of wof?
Have a good one sitting in a shell here so is it hard to swap it over being glued in?

Got to talking to the guys at Novus in Winton about it one day and they use piano wire to poke through between the windscreen and frame, then just pull it back and forth to cut the glue but the wire does heat up and break if you work it to hard.

Have tried it myself on a Puegot windscreen and it worked a treat.

Cool mite give the insurance a go failing that try the wire idea.

If you have glass break insurance on your insurance policy it shouldn't matter about wof or not
