Nissan Datsun speedo problems

1990 Nissan Datsun d/c
Speedo reads 25kms fast at 100km/h
Has had a td27t conversion
I'm wondering if it has had a different box and now the callibration between the gear at the gearbox and guage cluster is now different? Or if there is something else wrong?
Any common problems?

yes almost certainly, if the gearbox was changed as the speedo reads off a little drive gear in the side of the box. Either see if the speedo drive from the old box will fit into the new box or find a lower/higher ratio'd speedo drive from the same box to bring the speeds a bit closer to original dash speedo.

another option might be the dash from the td27 powered navara.
