free spool works well drum turns freely, full drum load wire rope..

Wont fit straight onto gq winch mount but with minor mount mods it will. The mq winch is slightly wider. Thought I would point that out to save others confusion or assumptions.

ah you learn .. I was told it was a saf/ pootrol winch..lol is the shaft a little longer.. ?

No. The width. The mount bolts are furhher apart on the mq, not by much but just enough.

Good base for winch challenge winch as you can get a wider custom drum on it as compared to the gq winch
