Hi, Baldyz here, new to 4wd, Picked up a 91 SWB Suzuki Vitara 1600 8v, for me and my 13 yo son (and wifey) to play in. I took it to Woodhill on the weekend and had a ball. Excellent fun!!!!. Have just finished putting 45mm lift Cobra springs and shortened Commodore shocks (keeps the springs captive) in the back and 45 Cobra springs and 15mm spacers in the front. Sits nice and level on 235/75/15 Bridgestone M/T's. One of my many questions is, Do I need a rear driveshaft flange spacer and rear diff upper balljoint spacer, with this amount of lift??? Thanks in advance, Baldyz.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
As far as I can tell the hiem joint spacer is a common mod when suspension lifting a Vitara. I think there are a couple of reasons to do this, firstly it puts the hiem joint at a nicer operating angle as it could bind on full extension without the spacer and longer shocks and secondly it might put the diff head back to a better operating angle for the drive line.
On mine I made and fitted a spacer in and never had any drive line issues or binding on full droop.
