just scored the last main part i needed tonight , so i can start in the new year. now have got ifs surf chassis, early hilux chassis /diffs beam axle model. a vp commodore v6 & auto and now got my nissan 720 tranfer case which being seperate type makes it easier and cheaper to do . the case is gear driven 2.07 to one reduction so dont know how that compares to others but will be lot better than my scudo, diffs are 4.88 front 4 pinion lsd rear locked (mig)

it is going to be a club truck but i will build it so i can compete in trials in class d ,wont be competitive but fun, that transfer case looks like mine ,have since found one more so will have a spare. found some info on pirate 4x4 forum in states and they have them behind v8s with bigger tyres than i will run but i am running 4spd auto so i cant dump the clutch and be to rough :lol:

so are you going to shorten the surf chassis, put in the v6 and auto and transfur case, then slot it all under the scudo body?
