What a shame theres not a "Untouchables" 4x4 secti

Post by adventures_more »

I always dreamed of owning a Unimog 4x4 , i know they are out of most peoples leagues and pockets ( $$ ) , i would rate them as the Best built 4x4 on planet earth , the amount of fittings and tools you can fit to them is amazing , plus i bet there are other vehicles around similar that are Military/industiral based , like an Oshkosh , MAN , etc

Its great too look up to something and aim High ( i may be talking shit being an Aussie after all its Australia day -lol ) be great to have section that you look at and think " One day i will have one of those " !

Mate, are you in the right country.
Unimogs here are as cheap as chips. In fact you can usually find one buried in the Waimak on a Sunday afternoon where a soldier has stuffed up
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

twin engined, one for the pump and one for the dirve, the drive engine is a 680hp 1910 ft/lb torque detroit, hooked to a allison 7 speed auto, weighs 33 tonne and does 0-80kph in 30 secs :D, 10 000L of water can be emptied in well under 2min 8)
P.S I am 5 ft 7 may be short but I ain't no dwarf

its not one of the new detroit MTU engines , something like a 16 V, etc ?

Must be fun to drive, be wicked on the road as everyone would get out the way pronto if they saw you behind them .
