turned key on and no power but could jump start

went to start toyota surf 1995 1kz last night turned key on lights came on the dash then went out and it would not start like no power but did jump start it .
went out to start the truck just now and all ok . what could it be

Just a guess, Bad battery terminal, remove and sand paper the post, replace

turned key on and no power but could jump start
