Wanted Hilux LN series chassis engine mount brackets

Post by hunton »

Hi,
As above I am looking for LN series engine mount brackets for my 3RZ conversion. Does anyone know of an old LN chassis I could cut these off?
I am in Tauranga.
Thanks

Hi Stu, thanks for looking. I located some mounts, I'll cut them off on the weekend, they are expensive but at least I can put the motor in now. I have the tank, pump and lines already in place from my previous 3YE conversion. I have re-routed the lines to the passenger side. The xmember is done. I'm trying to locate an Evap canister with the purge valve and 4 pin plug. There are a couple of wires been cut from the loom, I'll need to work out what they were / are for.
Wiring should be straight forward, relays and fuses are already in place from previous conversion. I just need to work out what I need to do with the old and new C plugs. And the black wire off the side of the distributor. I printed a copy of your wiring diagram which is a real help.Wiring is NOT my thing. I have a cross-over pipe from a diesel hilux so that just leaves the driveshafts. Oh yeah and maybe a V6 radiator. I think thats about it.

Cool great to hear, i spent ages trying to find what a two pin plug on engine loom did came out of main bunch at back of head originally thought would be for evap but turned out was reverse light wires for gbox stripped it out of loom and used it for the evap solenoid power, is the black wire aircond? Do you have older type distributer motor? If need be pinouts should be under cover of ecu.
Sorry about the quality of my diagram
Just like homer simpson and his spice rack i started out with good intentions of a nice tidy picture it quickly escalated into something resembling a preschoolers art work lol

I have the bent pipe, good to know the 3Y radiator works. Re the Evap can is your solenoid remote or part of the top of the evap can.
I see some 3RZ's have remote solenoids. I have been chasing cans with fixed solenoids but without luck.

Seperate its a nz new 3rz so isnt over top with emissions stuff, your old 3y should have had a can on lower front passenger side under battery tray area and a solenoid valve thing up on inner gaurd? You could probably reuse? Then run power to it then to the switched evap ground wire on ecu
