New member with Jeep Wrangler

Post by acyphyla »

Have just bought a Jeep Wrangler 2005 model and having fun getting to know it. Last 4WD I had was a 64 Landrover - lots of back country trips during the 70's.
Looking for a new soft top or hard top, and need to upgrade the tyres soon.

Welcome. Good luck with finding a hard top, they do occasionally come up on TradeMe. Soft top you can import from US (www.quadratec.com). Better quality than Chinese ones available through local vendors at higher prices.

What size tyres do you have in mind? Any photos of your Jeep?

Tyres are standard 215/75R15. I was thinking of going up to 235/75
Considering getting a hard top from Hardtop Depot -http://www.hardtopdepot.com/blog/
have asked for a shipping quote.

When you get that shipping quote for the hardtop, just make sure you are sitting down before reading it.....
