Rear coil springs for series 90 RX Prado needed.

Post by GreyGhost »

The previous owner fitted Gabriel gas shocks to the rear end, but didn't do the springs.
There's a bit of sag back there! Probably original (20 years old) springs.
I'd like to keep standard height. Missus is a shorty too, and has trouble getting in already, so no 2" lifts, etc needed.
Ideally I'd like standard height but maybe a bit stiffer. Is that possible? Or maybe just a small lift, like 20mm max as I don't want the missus to get grumpy (she's the navigator/gate opener).
Any recommendations re supply of springs, or do I just go to Trade Me?
Thanks.

Where abouts are you? I have some std springs that came off mine 8 years ago.
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

Hi,
I'm in Richmond, Nelson so probably a tad too far.
Thanks though. If I have no luck locally I'll get in touch with you about yours.
Cheers.
