the worth of a 1984 rangie with the 300tdi

Hey guys, im looking at 1984 rangie to purchase but im not sure how much they tend to go for, the rangie im looking at is going for $10.000. what are your thoughts

I don't see any replies yet which is odd as so many jump right in that know these vehicles. Personally I think its a bit steep despite the good TD300 motor unless its in pristine condition. But if its a daily type truck that one can actually take on a dirt roads and the odd safari then 7-8 would seen quite fair. Only my personal opinion as an ex Landy mech from 91 to 94 and having only every owner a BMW Defender 90 and 6 Discoveries.(no Rangies yer but love em.
