[Refreshing Mode] TJ Wrangler 97

Post by frederic26 »

It will not be a revolution, but as I enjoy to do it, I am planning to refresh a bit the beast...

1. Changing the Warn Flares to back OEM or something similar

Before:

Was thinking about spacers as I didn't like how the wheels are covered by the flares.. but

After:

At the end, the new flares satisfy me...

So might have the old set of flares to put on the market.

You might not like the flares covering the tread, but the WOF guy is possibly going to have a different opinion.

Hum i didn't think about this... thanks. Pictures don't give justice.. it is very very light + OEM flares and no spacers...

The flare has to cover the "tread" so its ok if the sidewall its outside.

3. Noise Reduction

It was a nice racing noise but a way too much for the passengers

That should be the catalyst converter, with a muffler behind the skid.

Actually, they put that one to reduce the noise rather than changing the muffler.
