Just saw this on TradeMe. $130k is a bit rich (too rich without a V8 / Supercharger included for free). Interesting bit though, it has 3.5" lift and 35" tyres. Given that its the dealer selling it, it must have been safety complied with for registration (and legally).
So, does that mean a standard Wrangler using the same AEV suspension can be easily certified as well? This Brute sets the precedent for the suspension work done, which I believe is bolt on and not cut/weld anywhere.
This is the installation pdf for this suspension: http://www.aev-conversions.com/isheets/ ... 101210.pdf

Seems a reasonably comprehensive kit and shouldn't have a problem getting certified.
Only issue I would have (not sure how a certifier would view it) is the bending of the brake lines to give extra length. My preference would be to go for longer braided stainless steel hoses.
Available ex USA or can be made locally.

Why not take the instructions to your local certifier and ask, best to be sure...

Personally, I'm a not looking for a lift that high or tyres that big.
Mine being a short wheelbase, going from factory 32s to 33s with a 50-60mm suspension lift is more than adequate.

Saw this thing on my way to uni this morning. Didn't realise it was in Christchurch. Looked far better on the drive by than in the trademe add.

Saw one of these around Palmy the other day.
Saw the front, thought "oh yea, another Jeep". Then as it went past, I saw the rear and thought "what the hell, that's different!" Was a nice surprise.
