TD27t injector removal, straightforward?

Post by altair »

Bought a set of recond injectors for the Mistral, so is it straightforward to remove the old ones, any tips?

Its not an ETi model, plain older td27t.

Will there be any diesel under pressure when I undo them? Do I need to release any pressure, or just start pulling the diesel lines off the top?

Never touched a diesel before, hoping it won't be much harder than changing a set of sparkplugs. But want to do it properly of course, have all new copper washers etc.

Cheers

Sweet, all done, now idles much nicer and a bit faster, and seems smoother. Still smokes a bit of black when I boot it, but guess thats normal for the old TD27.
