Are they for a 60 series?
The reason I ask is that 60s springs are very short, and hence if you don't have lots of weight on them, they won't flex much.
(oh and as a "by the way" comment, I just threw out 2 front packs of 60s springs 2 weeks ago  )

Putting them in my FJ40 (after reading Nibliks build thread). Are they shorter than standard 40 springs?

Plus something to do with bigger bushes vs standard 40 ones.

Gave him a cal thanks. Top bloke. Told him he needs to get onto this site.

Apartently the 60 series springs are a little longer (few mm's). Can just run less leafs to ensure you get the flex (talked about 5 leaf pack).

How much longer are the 70 series springs nib?

OK, so now its need 2 x 60 series for the rear (will sort out with Sideshow) and 2 x 70 series for the front (since got to move hangers anyway).

I`ll catch up with you on the 18th. I`m attempting to rebuild some 60 series diffs at the moment to go into the FJ40. Will need the 60 series and 70 series springs when I do the SOA. Got some new shocks and an LSD to put in to but... unfortunately none of this will be ready before the 18th so I`m expecting to need a few assists out of the mud

What I really need before 18th is 1 x FJ40 spring to replace a front one I have bent. Let me know if anyone has a spare out there.

Cheers, Sideshow said he had some 40's springs but needed them for his truck. If he has a spare i'd be keen.

I've been following Nibliks FJ40 build and also the mods Wopass has done and am trying something similar.

Haven`t tried to pull the spring pack apart but yeah perhaps I`ll give that a go first. Cheers, 8)
