Selling my truck....is on reg hold,has 270km on the clock. Runs real good,doesnt use water but has a hole in the sump so leaks a little oil. Body has the usual rust sites,so may not get another wof,but the drive train is good,electrics all work.Would best suit an offroad truck or paddock hack.
Im after $2200.

yep full body,everything is there,low roof job,5 seater.Back bumper and side steps are missing,front discs arent the best,swivel hubs are leaking,but aside from that its a good runner.

Bloody good deal. If you have the time to part it out, you'd nearly get that for the motor alone

I would part it out but im out in the sticks and don't have an engine lifter.....I may start stripping it though.The drivers door is rusty at the bottom,gutters and sills are cheese,front drivers guard is dented,grill is slightly broken on the same side.All the other doors are good,all electrics work well,new rear discs,new front pads,rear calipers rekitted.The only thing is the rev counter reads to high in revs sometimes.The alternator is only a year old also. The body shell is pretty much naffed though.

yeah im in Awhitu,about 30km out of waiuku,up towards the lighthouse.That guy off trade me came out and looked at it and said since its an auto its worth nothing,fkn dickweed......also since one of the mirrors is smashed and the grill broken its worth even less,oh and its been repainted black,so again that makes it worth even less again.I told him everything about the wagon,but he still came out to try and lowball me,he didn't stay long,lol.
Its a fkn good truck,runs good,has no blow by,everything works.I might biff it on TM for a dollar reserve in the next week if I get time.Im selling it as I need funds to keep rebuilding my 1958 Plymouth fury that's been sitting for too long.

Any idea what the fuel milage is? It is the TD42, yeah?

what do you mean by fuel milage? Kms per liter? I reckon the auto,s are under rated for off road use and towing,I towed 3 and a half ton to welly and back with it,bugger doing that in a manual.

KMs ler litre, litres per 100 KM, whichever.
No doubt they are capable, but I have never owned an auto and don't really plan to start. The maintenance/ potential for irrecoverable breakdowns... just not for me eh!
But it could suit me as a spares wagon, but obviously would need to have enough compatible bits.
4.2 litre diesel engine, yeah?

I understand your concern with auto's,ive never had any problems with mine. Yeah its a td42 24v.
Are you after running gear or body parts,cause as mentioned three doors are ok,but the rest of the body is pretty rotten.The running gear is good,never had any issues with it.
