Where to go for parts

Post by cbfb »

Doing the cambelt and a few other things on my new (to me) L200. It's the first Mitsy I've owned so not sure the best place to go for parts. Obviously there's the likes of Appco, Partworld etc but wondered if there's a better option? Based in Palmy but happy to do mail order also.

Mitzi motors themselves are usually worth checking the price on.

I've just tried partzonline.co.nz there was a stuff up with some of my order couriered from another depot and it didn't arrive.... they have been real good to deal with it about and they are sending another set to my work for me
Price wise they are at the trade price for what I was buying and they are the same brand stuff I was getting through BNT but to my door service

I get my Mitsi parts from USA on line, genuine parts delivered to door. Use BNT for plenty of stuff though, just get used to replacing parts more often :D

Awesome, another couple I hadn't thought of. Have dealt with BNT in the past but not heard of partzonline.

How long's the turnaround on stuff ex USA? Is freight costly?

Re your comments about BNT stuff, you reckon it's best to go genuine? Crash bandicoot said earlier in the thread that Mitsy are worth checking out. I hope to keep the truck for a while so wouldn't mind paying a bit more for piece of mind, as long as I'm not just paying for the name.
