1999 Terrano Aero

I picked up a 1999 Terrano Aero a couple of months ago very similar to this one:


and am looking to remove the rear wing and replace the front bumper for the standard one like this:
.

I have undone the bolts from the inside of the tailgate but the wing doesn't seem to want to come off..
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Probably a silicone adhesive holding the wing on for waterproofing. Give it a decent yank? Not responsible for paint damage

use the hairdryer (or VERY careful use of a heat gun) at the base to try to soften the silicone/adhesive. See if that helps.

I managed to find a new bumper for cheap and got the tail off the back.
The mounting points are quite large so I have it booked in to have them welded over and the top part of the tailgate resprayed, there was some rust there so that will be cut out at the same time.


I am running some 31x10.5s on it and am getting a bit of rubbing, so was thinking I would lift it.

Anyone have any recommendations for parts?
I was thinking something like these:
