97 terrano door sag

Post by Dalystar »

I posted this the other day but I think it was in the wrong topic area.
Bought a 97 terrano and the driver door has sag. Bushes must be gone. On this model it's not possible to but a bushing kit and pin as the hinge is all one.
Cockram nissan Christchurch has quoted $115 per hinge.this seems crazy. I read somewhere that u can grind out the original hinge and modify a different hinge & pin set. Does anyone know anything about this

Top and bottom hinges wear on opposite sides of the pin....if they are the same swap top for bottom.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

Alternatively you could get hinges (or entire doors for that matter) cheaper out of wrecked r50 terranos which there are thousands of now

Not a bad idea. I'll give this a try at the weekend and see how it goes
