Ld28 Flywheel WTB

Post by olielux »

Anyone have an LD28 Flywheel, the closer to southland the better,

Pulled the engine out of my Kingswood and it only has a flywheel and clutch for a 2 litre in it which explains why it slipped every chance it got, especially with a turbo hanging off the motor the clutch shop was surprised it lasted this long

thanks Ollie

So you be wanting a l28ET flywheel then. 8) and if it takes your fancy bore it out 3mm and use Honda xl 500 dirt bike pistons and rods from the L24 engine.

tha't'll give ya 3 litres and drop the compression so ya can crank the shit outa that garrett turbo...that's if its a factory LD28-T

Hey, can either of you guys tell me what Turb the LD28 should have??

It looks like a T3 or T4 flange in the mani, but it's only a baby diesel so it needs the right turb otherwise it will be laggy and work in the wrong part of the rev range.

We have half the Turb

my LD28T had a air research t04E on it. (Unsure if this was factory or not) But it was a lot smaller than a normal (petrol) T04E.
