Anyone got any of these old girls lying around?
After a couple of CT90 or CT110 runners.

Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
What are you going to do with them?
Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
Just for some light off road stuff. hunting/running some small trails etc.
If I end up with at least one minter then perhaps road legal will happen too.
AM keeping an eye one some of the ex post ones but I imagine they're pretty kiized by now?

Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
Dunno about the NZ post ones but I'm told a lot of the aftermarket motors use the same mounting patterns so you can bolt a Lifan 140cc in there for example .
Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
I've got one that mounts on the back of my bighorn, parts are real cheap from china and not bad quality, brand new carbie was $30. This one was ex postie but runs like a clock
Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
yeah those lifan motors will in theory bolt straight in to a 110cc frame, or an olc C50 50cc step through. apparently the 90s are a little different but will still fit with some modification.
pretty keen on a dual range gearbox one but even still the single range ones will probably be fine for what I'll be up to.

Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
I know of a 110 hi/lo range model that might be available. Based in Hamilton though. I last saw it running a few years ago now but shed stored. pm me with an offer if interested and I'll ask.
Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
would be keen on that. hamilton is fine.
get some details and a ballpark price if you can! I can't really make an offer not knowing anything really about it, and don't want to offend!

Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
Just one caveat with the postie bikes mate, get the breaks thoroughly checked. Not too many other bikes get their brakes used hundreds or thousands of times, every time they're ridden!
Other than that they're awesome little machines and surprisingly capable off road.

Re: WTB: Honda CT90/110
yeah mate would plan to slap a set of better tyres on and give them a good going over.
Pretty much jut plan to get them for cruising over some of the tracks that're around that are a bit small or treacherous for the ol' landy.
