LED dashboard lights-what code

Post by catalystracing »

I have some lights out on the instrument cluster, and need to change broken speedo cable. So while in there I want to change to LED lamps. Are they T-5 ? if not what type are they.

Cheers Paul.

Just to update for those who are interested.
I needed 6 T10s, and 9 T5s.
The T10s were for indicators, low fuel light, and 3 for backlighting. A note on the T10 backlighting ones, get the shorter versions, about 1 inch long, there are some that are 1.2 inches and they dont fit due to the diffuser molded into the cluster.
Two T5s for backighting, the rest for 4wd, high beam, glow etc.

Note that some models may have more T5s as there was spaces for seat belt indicators etc that I dont have.
1 T5 was for the heater panel.

Overall really pleased.

Thanks for the tips.

Paul.
