how to get rid of spiders / cockroachers from your car

i bought my Pajero from a farm down south, and looks like it was sitting in a shed for months on end.

ive owned it a good 6 months now, cleaning it nearly every weekend only to find spiders webs the very next day.
yesterday i was washing it and noticed three cockroachers running down the panel, from my rear window

ive tried spider spray from the super market and ive killed over 20 that ive seen in the time ive had it.

is there a wash out there that is suitible for cars that wont damage my paint job?

any one had any issues like this, thanks

i should mention there mostly on the out side of the vehicle from front to rear and every where in between

My only thought is if you know anyone with an empty transport container, drive in and set off a flea/ bug bomb or similar and close the container door.
Or failing that you can get huge plastic bags from places like Blackwoods (called fish bags) same thing envelope car and set off a bug bomb.

Do you have a knapsack sprayer or even a small 2 litre type pump sprayer?

Buy some spider chemical from a rural supplies store (or maybe mitre10 etc), mix that up and spray it in door jams, mirrors etc and they will run out. It's what the fly &a spider control people use for houses and it goes good. I use ripcord but anything similar should work.

leave the windows down wrap it in plastic sheet and chuck a couple of bug bombs in it and under it and walk away for a day

thats what MAF did to my caravan, worked a treat. Could do the same thing in a garage

Had a similar issue with a car we got once. Shut it in the garage let of 2 bug bombs and problem solved
