Helmet Comms

Me and my boy are just having a bit of a go at some winch comp events. And quickly worked out that using a handheld is a bloody pain when you're trying to sort out ropes and anchors. Dont really want to drop 500 on a comms set as I'm sure I'll need that $ for fixing the truck.
Anyone bought cheepy helmet intercoms off aliexpress? There's a lot on there to choose between when you know nothing about the specs.
The other option I was thinking of was a 5W handheld in top pocket and plug in speaker/mic on the helmet. Are there any handhelds that would be VOX capable in that setup?

Thanks Monsta. That same model (maker logo shows in one of the TM photos) was one of the ones I had listed so your recommendation is taken. Half the TM price on Ali, just got to hope it turns up now. Cheers.
