recommend a welder in Auckland (North or East)?

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

recommend a welder in Auckland (North or East)?

Post by danielbeek »

Hey,
Hoping someone can recommend a decent welder on the shore, or in central/east Auckland?
Need to have new mounts put on a 75mm box section bar with hitch receiver, to raise it up a bit behind the bumper of my Terrano.

A couple of mainstream towbar shops contacted don't seem too keen, probably as it's an existing bar, not a full new build. :(
It's in excellent condition, so not sure what the issue could be...

Cheers.

My old man has had various odd-jobs (repairs to alloy boat and trailer) done by Thomas Rahn in Howick, pretty tidy work. Not sure if he does 4x4 but worth a call anyway. Other shop I'd try would be Cascade Automotive, Pakuranga.
