80 series 1HDT Alternators

Post by wjw »

Hi All,

Mine needs a service, can't get bearings etc till I pull it apart so I need to either, find a spare one or buy an uprated one and then keep this one as a spare. Anyone know where I could buy an uprated one? 120A+ or have an old one lying around I could buy?

Thanks,

Bill

Not that deep yet. But my Alt in the 1KZ is pretty high ish... Never had issues with old one. And if its made the same it should have the plastic cover over the brushes inside. That helps keep the crap out.
