25mm ball joint spacer
25mm ball joint spacer
Heya guys, probly been asked a million times but im interested In putting 25mm ball joint spacers in my 2004 ford courier to get a little more height without having to max my torsions out, what are the cons of spacers? And are they legal? Any info is much appreciated.
Re: 25mm ball joint spacer
I make cnc machined ones for couriers as a kit with high grade bolts etc and have had them certed in various utes ,
The only failures i have seen is when people go to a 2" spacer (i dont do the 2" ones ) the axle moves to far and pops out , its can be fixed via doing a diff drop and relocating the bump stops but in my opinion 1" is the maximum , I also have 12mm ones that you can fit and are barely noticable for wof etc

Re: 25mm ball joint spacer
How much lift would ya get out of a 12mm spacer?
Re: 25mm ball joint spacer
you can match a 2" rear lift by raising or re-indexing the tortions yet retain some downwards suspension travel if you dont run the spacers it will be topped out ,

On the mitsi's you should be able to gain around 20mm just by "flipping" the ball joint.cornflake wrote:do u make them for for 91 l200
basically unbolting it from the top of the UCA and bolting it underneath, you will gain the thickness of the body of the ball joint and the thickness of the control arm.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.
