LJ78 vs ln65/106 diff parts

Post by Cambo »

Hey Team,

My Lj78 front diff needs an overhaul but cvs and bearings etc seem harder to come bye than the ln65/106 parts, can someone help me out and confirm if bearings seals etc for swivel hub are the same as I was under the impression they were the same housings just coil sprung not leaf.... but I am occasionally wrong

Unless the cvs are playing up , leave them alone. They are stronger than the hilux versions.
I used a kit from Terrain Tamer for my swivel hubs (Don Kyatt in AKL) only a few things different due to being a Jap import.
Thats the axle seal in the housing. Otherwise everything else fitted fine.
Cheers Calvin
